Second board, second set. Personally find peace of mind knowing a nose dive isn't an instant shoulder into the pavement so I've added a set day-one to every board. No real loss of clearance and a quality part make this an easy choice.

After son challenged the pushback one too many times, we got the Fangs. Game-changer and would have saved us some injuries had we gotten it from the beginning.
Was having issues with sensors and cut outs where the board dies and bucks you off (at 22mph!) Disabling moving faults and having fangs is just investing in your health. That extra second or two allows you to run out most nosedives if you come off the board at all. Popping the clutch on nose-roll starts is pretty fun as well but make sure your runway is super smooth.
Tires are amazing I could lean hard into corners with full confidence. Never had a flat or leak with first set just awesome!
