Just order and hope for the best. Product came in time, but the lower fang plate was the wrong color. The product deserves 5 stars though. Fit nicely. Sithole service though
I've had 2 bad overload falls since I got my GT, so I finally decided to get fangs. Install was super easy, and the board feels exactly the same. While I haven't had to use them for a high speed nosedive yet, I have hit them a couple of times on low speed turns down a slope, and both times I was able to recover without even a run out. Price is fair and the product works, I'd highly recommend.
Super high quality product! It is of such high quality that not only does it LOOK factory, I would say it exceeds factory quality. I consider this an essential item as it buys you TIME to make necessary corrections if/when your board nose dives, increasing dramatically the probability of you walking away from the crash! If you're on the fence, DO IT, I love mine. It's a small price to pay for this much safety
I bought this as a Christmas present for our son-in-law. He was very happy when he opened the package!
I ordered a Platypus GT, explicitly selecting the “Yes – 2 pads front and back” option in order to receive a pair, which doubles the price at checkout.
In the end, I only received one footpad.
Being located in France, I also paid around $30 in customs fees (calculated for a pair) plus $50 in shipping, to receive a single pad.
The footpad I received also has a small chip, likely from an impact. This is not a major issue in itself it will get scratched with use anyway but it is still worth mentioning for a new product at this price.
I intentionally chose the sensorless version, as I already own a V2 sensor. From a technical standpoint, the product itself is good and works well.
However, the seller’s behavior is unacceptable:

👉 I am simply asking for the missing footpad to be sent.
Once this issue is resolved, I will update this review.
I am therefore leaving 1 star, not because of the product, but due to poor customer service and a complete lack of communication.
