I bought two sets of platys for the xr and two for the GT, haven’t installed them all yet but have installed them on my XRV, I’m having engagement issues but I’m using the thin sticky feet up front and am going to attempt Gripples, I’m a size 11 and have had engagement issues with a previous set also, I ordered these sets without grip so I could try something different. I still love the footpads and of corse the company, just wanted to let everyone know there may be issues but they can be resolved, just be patient. This is a very quality product here
Just what I was looking for. The peace of mind to know you can ride out a nose dive. The Fangs just saved me tonight when my GT took a sudden stop, the fangs rolled and I rode out the dive. A must for your board.
I returned Order # 45646 as instructed (by Matt) to be exchanged for Fangs GT that I really need. I have still never received my GT Fangs and if they are not in the mail by now then please, Please refund my $121.67 so I can re-order the proper Fangs for my GT.

Product looks great installed and the idea of having a clean solution to any potential nosedive is well worth the cost. Solid construction and easy installation. The only criticism I have is that the fang doesn’t have a formed curvature to match the rail installation. It requires some flexing to **** in the front screws. Once installed, it’s a non-issue, I’m hoping the required bending doesn’t sacrifice structural integrity.
The FANGS GT are meant to conform to the curl of the rails of the GT boards once the screws are tight. It will not affect the strong, unbreakable texture of the Fangs.
The installation was seamless and worked really well. Even with the coaster, it has less body than a stock pintx bumper for those that seek uniformity in the presention…but the insurance plan for a possible nosedive is worth the sacrifice of plastic and teeth.
